General condition and any additional information

The Seaward 25 is a trailerable pocket cruiser that makes getting to far places easy. The inboard Westerbeke 18 hp diesel engine is easy to start and economical to run, she measures fuel usage in pints per hour not gallons. This boat is turn key ready to cruise.

This pocket cruiser is well maintained and equipped for everything from a day sail to going the distance over a vacation or long weekend. On board water, enclosed marine head, shower, hot water tank, galley with 2 burner stove, sink and refrigerator make it easy to spend long amounts of time aboard the boat in a very civilized manner.

Steering system is an Edson wheel with throttle, transmission, and wheel lock all within easy reach. Full instrumentation allows you to know exactly how the engine is performing, with guages backed up by warning bells.

Her shallow draft, 25 inches, will let you snuggle into any anchorage while gunkholing, and her ground tackle makes anchoring a snap. If the anchorage is a bit deeper than most, you have 30 feet of chain, backed by 200 feet of rhode in your anchor locker to allow you to safely anchor the boat. Tags mark each ten feet of use. While you are at anchor, she comes with a riding sail to make your stay more comfortable.

She has a Si-Tex Color Max Chartplotter with removable head for better security. The Si-Tex not only gives you full chartplotting, but high and low tide tables, tide flow direction and estimated speed, and has easy to use menus for customizing its functions the way you want, not the way some one in the factory thinks you need. The Si-Tex chartplotter is also a multifunction head so if you want it's easy to add radar to the boat.

All lines run aft to the cockpit making sail handling a breeze. She comes with a roller furling 135% Genoa on Haarken furling and her main sail has two slab reefing points, plus a traveler. The whisker pole works wonderfully in light airs, negating the need for a spinnaker. There is a rack for the whiskerpole so it's always handy.

There is also a tender rack on her stern pulpits for an inflatable tender.

A dodger, bimini and bridge canvas keeps you dry or out of the sun while in the cockpit, but all canvas can be dropped and stowed easily if a more open air setting is desired.

Eight opening ports and the forward hatch insure more than adequate ventilation of the cabins and head.

She has screens for all portlights, for the V-Berth hatch, and the main companion way allowing for great ventilation without the inclusion of little buggy pests in your cabin area.

For nights that are a bit cooler, there is a wood burning stove in the V-Berth. It will keep the whole below decks area warm and toasty.

Lifelines have been raised to 24 inches and doubled for increased safety for crew members moving about the decks and children you might have on board.

The on board VHF radio is backed up by a hand held VHF portable radio, perfect for staying in touch with your tender.

She will retain her life sling, life sling pulley assist, jacklines, man overboard ring, two throwing cushions and air horns as on board safety equipment.

The AM/FM/CD Player and Bose speakers also remain on board.

Other items to remain will be the engine spare part kit (fuel filters, impellers, oil filters, fan belt, zincs, oil, etc), trailer ball lock and second propeller.

This is boat is well equipped, maintained and exceptionaly well out fitted for cruising.

Priced well under market.
