S/V Mizu is Catalina 36 Mkii designed by Gerry Douglass. “The target market for the 36 is couples and families who primarily weekend and vacation cruise but may be planning some extended cruising,” said Douglas. “They want a boat that is comfortable, offers reasonable performance, and is stable and predictable to handle. The boat suits their budget, and they can add gear for bluewater cruising.” Mizu has been significantly upgraded to allow bluewater cruising.
