General condition and any additional information

This well maintained Sabre 34 MK 2 shoal draft cruiser was a remarkable family
boat that opened the door to exploring the New England coast for our family and sustained those adventures for over twenty years.
Yes shes fast and stiff with a 7 foot draft and a furling main that reduced sail area in a single tack without leaving the cockpit was a great advantage for safety. Ive raced everything from dinghies to schooners with lots of j-boats in between and a better family cruiser would be hard to imagine.
The Mark 2 was a well conceived improvement that modernized their first 34 in speed, looks, and comfort, A young couple with a growing family couldnt do better in my opinion, and the time for my wife and I to part with her has us hoping
we can launch her into her next life with great promise.
