General condition and any additional information
1969 Cheoy Lee Clipper 36 - $10,500. Will consider a reasonable offer.
This vessel has sailed transatlantic twice - most recently Chesapeake Bay and US Atlantic cruising
Currently sitting in a storage yard - almost completely disassembled for restoration/refurbishment (project interrupted and stalled)
Teak Decking still on the boat, topsides rails/woodwork and interior are all teak.
Some of the work has been completed, but the majority still left to tackle
Ive included some photos in order to provide a sense of what has been accomplished, and are just a sampling.
Just some of the meticulous work completed - showing the level of attention to detail:
* Perkins 107 and Gearbox completely rebuilt/refurbished-needs heat exchanger. I was going to replace the original with a new Bowman (all project photos available upon request)
* Ritchie Compass rebuilt
* Steering Pedestal and Wheel rebuilt/repainted/replated
* Damaged Taft Rail rebuilt
All parts/equipment/gear/rigging etc. that were removed from the boat are stored and included (This comprises the original inventory of parts, etc.,
except for the propane stove which was not usable and was unable to find parts)
The teardown and project work completed so far are well documented by photos and are available upon request by a serious buyer.
Purchaser will need to arrange for pickup and delivery from Williamsburg, VA.
