Boat is located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

1973 Yankee Seahorse 24ft Sailboat with Trailer.

I am offering an exceptional opportunity to those that sail or wish to.

This 1973 Yankee Seahorse sailboat has been restored to better than new condition.

I have enjoyed over 15 years of sailing at Belews Lake, the Carolina coast and its inland waterways.

This sailboat boasts a v-berth that sleeps two, with a Bomar deck hatch for gazing at the stars, nautical brass lighting on each side, an electric oscillating fan, built in storage and 110v electrical outlets.

On the port side, just aft of the v-berth is where the large portable head is located, nestled in its own compartment, equipped with a solar and battery powered through deck vent fan.

Just to the starboard is a built-in microwave oven with an open storage locker just below.

Moving aft is where the Galley and dinette is located.

The galley is on the starboard side and is equipped with a sink, faucet and hand held sprayer with running water, two burner alcohol stove and several cabinets for storing dishes, pots, pans and several drawers for silverware and such.

The dinette is to the port side of the galley.

The table is a good size with rails to keep things from falling off during those gusting sails when the boat is heeled and the table also comes down to make a nice area for lounging.

The AC and DC electrical panels, marine stereo/CD player, marine communication radio, nautical lighting and electrical oscillating fans are also located in the dinette.

Below the seating is where the dual marine battery system is, with a manual battery selector switch and DC outlet.

Behind the aft back rest is a compartment housing the marine dual battery charging system with room for additional storage also.

Just aft of the galley there is a TV/VCR mounted on an adjustable swing arm and below a built-in DVD player, AC controls and the output vent for the marine air conditioning system is located in this area also.

There is a quarter berth located on the starboard side just aft of the galley which also has storage below.

The marine air conditioning system is toward the aft in the quarter berth with through hull intake and outtake.

The roof of the cabin can be raise and enclosed with sunbrella to have 6 feet of headroom.

Moving aft out of the cabin is the cockpit.

On the outside of the cabin there are mounted speed gauge and depth finder/fish finder.

There is a built in handheld shower for rinsing off after swimming or strolling on the shore.

The foresail and mainsail lines all run to the cockpit.

I have six sails for the boat, all in good condition with reefing points, and for motoring there is an 8hp Yamaha four stroke long shaft outboard.

The mast can be lowered and raised by a single person even while underway, as needed if one must go under low overpasses.

The sailboat has a shoal keel with a swing down keel built in.

The rudder and tiller is one unit that can be raised to decrease her draft.

Overall she has a 2.5ft. draft with the swing keel up.

The trailer has been improved to self-center the boat upon retrieval, is equipped with a 10ft add on tongue extension for use if water levels are low, polypropylene rollers, new axle and load range “D” tires.

I will be glad to answer any additional questions that may arise, don’t hesitate to call, txt or e-mail.

I have included several pictures and can send additional ones to those interested.
